Grievances and Appeals

PACE by Innercare participants have the right to file a grievance or an appeal if they have concerns about their care, services, or decisions made by the program.

A grievance is a complaint or concern about any aspect of PACE by Innercare, including the quality of care, services received, or interactions with staff.

An appeal is a request to review a decision made by PACE by Innercare, such as a denial, reduction, or termination of a service.

Participants or their authorized representatives may file a grievance or appeal at any time by contacting PACE by Innercare using one of the following methods:

PACE by Innercare will review all grievances and appeals promptly and provide a response in accordance with Medicare and Medi-Cal requirements. Participants will not be discriminated against or experience retaliation for filing a grievance or appeal.
